Selena Gomez With Her Parents

The Selena Gomez family tree contains her mother and step dad Mandy and Brian Teefey and father Ricardo Gomez. The Gomez/Teefey clan became one of America's famous families and loved by all. In October 2008, Selena Gomez splashed onto the kids entertainment scene with her role as Alex Russo on the newest Disney Channel fantasy television show, The Wizards Of Waverly Place. Like other teen sensations, like Miley Cyrus, Disney discovered Selena within a family tree already entrenched in the world of show business.

Selena's mother, Mandy Teefey, sparked Selena's desire to be on stage while she herself performed on stage throughout the Dallas Metropolitan area. Selena's genealogy composition includes a unique mixture of Mexican, English, and Italian heritage spanning across vastly different regions of the United States.

Selena Gomez was not the first or last Disney princess. Selena shares that glory with the Miley Cyrus disney star.
